Kayla advises clients on a broad range of privacy and cybersecurity matters and is also involved in transactional work concentrating on data privacy and security due diligence in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Fenwick, Kayla was an associate at an international law firm. While pursuing her J.D. at Santa Clara University School of Law, she was recognized numerous times for her academic achievement, including receiving the High Tech Excellence Award as well as the High Tech Law Certificate with a Corporate Specialization. She was the Co-President of both the Chiefs in Intellectual Property chapter at SCU and the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and was also an Associate for the High Tech Law Journal.
