Jonathan acts as general outside counsel for his clients, with a focus on complex corporate matters, including financings, investments, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. He advises tech-enabled emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycle, from their formation to series financings to exit. In his varied background, Jonathan has represented companies in the AI/ML, software, digital health, life sciences, proptech, fintech, insurtech, blockchain, gaming, semi-conductor, defense tech, advertising, media, e-commerce, consumer, food and beverage, and fashion and beauty industries.
Jonathan also represents and advises angel investors, venture capital firms, corporate venture funds and strategic acquirers investing in emerging growth companies. As a key member of the firm’s venture studio practice, he also regularly advises financial and strategic investors in structuring and deploying their venture studio programs, and represents many of the startups that come out of those programs.
