Chris counsels public and private clients on a wide variety of strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, carveouts and divestments, tender offers and strategic investments. He has represented buy-side, including multiple serial acquirers, and sell-side clients on more than $130 billion in M&A transactions, including more than a dozen billion-dollar plus deals. His clients cover a wide range of industries, including technology, fintech, life sciences and consumer products, and his cross-border M&A experience includes significant transactions in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. Chris also advises companies on transaction strategy and corporate governance matters, including shareholder engagement, takeover defense and fiduciary issues.
Chris received his J.D. from U.C. Davis School of Law and was elected Order of the Coif. Chris received his B.A. in politics, magna cum laude, from Whitman College.
