Shreyas is an intellectual property litigator who represents and counsels innovative companies in patent infringement and other business disputes. With his deep background in computer software and hardware, Shreyas has successfully navigated disputes involving cutting-edge high-performance computing systems, networking technologies, consumer computing products, encryption and authentication technologies, video encoding, artificial intelligence, and consumer goods and beauty technologies. Shreyas’ practice includes all phases of disputes, from pre-litigation counseling on IP portfolios through discovery, summary judgment, trial, and appeal. Shreyas has developed a track record of success in venues throughout the country, including in federal district courts, the International Trade Commission, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Prior to joining Fenwick, Shreyas was an associate in the IP group of a leading international law firm. Shreyas has experience providing pro bono services for veterans claims and asylum applicants.
During law and business school, he was the senior editor of the NYU Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law and associate vice president of the Entrepreneurial Exchange Group. Shreyas also provided legal services through the Unemployment Action Center and the NYU International Transactions Clinic. As part of his clinical work, Shreyas helped create the NYU Impact Investment Fund (NIIF). Shreyas also spent nearly a decade as a senior software engineer at leading technology companies before attending law school.
