Samantha assists in the drafting of patent applications and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications for clients in life sciences industries. She has experience assisting with the prosecution of patents for medications and kits about to be brought to market, as well as with USPTO office actions and freedom to operate analysis.
Samantha holds a Ph.D. in immunology from Emory University, where she investigated phenotypic differences between HIV viral subtypes and risk factors associated with increased risk of HIV infection in Sub-Saharan Africa to identify at-risk populations.
