Retley advises technology and life sciences companies in a broad range of patent litigation matters.
Prior to joining Fenwick, Retley worked as a litigation associate for an AmLaw 100 firm, where he represented clients in all stages of complex patent, trade secret, products liability, antitrust and general commercial litigations in state and federal courts, the PTAB and the ITC.
Retley maintains an active pro bono practice that has included assisting LGBTQ and HIV-positive asylum applicants, representing indigent clients in matrimonial and family law matters in New York state courts, and advocating for policy reform on behalf of New Yorkers experiencing homelessness.
