Pooja is a patent agent in Fenwick’s intellectual property and life sciences groups. She assists clients with managing patent portfolios, patent application drafting and prosecution, both in the U.S. and internationally, and with intellectual property due diligence and freedom-to-operate analyses.

Her work is informed by her scientific background, which includes a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from The Ohio State University, where she focused on the total synthesis of a natural product molecule as well as time spent as a senior research scientist at a large pharmaceutical company developing alternative delivery systems for drugs using nanoparticles.
