Payam represents technology and life sciences companies in a broad range of intellectual property and complex commercial disputes, with a particular focus on patent litigation matters. He has represented clients in various phases of litigation, including discovery, claim construction, and summary judgment. He has also litigated cases in venues across the country, including federal courts in Virginia, Delaware, New York, and California.
While attending law school, Payam served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Edward J. Davila of the Northern District of California. Payam also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Liam O’Grady of the Eastern District of Virginia. Additionally, he was a notes editor for the Santa Clara Law Review and was president of the Middle Eastern Law Student Association.
