Monica represents technology, life sciences, and consumer product companies in all stages of complex commercial litigation and class action lawsuits. She is experienced in handling federal and state court cases and pre-litigation disputes relating to false advertising, copyright, unfair competition, intellectual property, the consumer protection statutes, and fraud.
Before joining Fenwick, Monica was an associate at an international law firm, where she represented public companies and their officers and directors in securities class actions and shareholder demands. She also represented clients in both internal and government-facing investigations before the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in response to allegations of accounting fraud, corruption and bribery. Additionally, Monica advised numerous clients on their compliance programs and on matters relating to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
