Mike Knobler is a partner at Fenwick whose practice focuses on international and domestic corporate and partnership tax planning, M&A issues, and controversies.

Mike has taught U.S. international tax at UC Berkeley law school and speaks regularly to tax practitioners on issues affecting outbound and inbound investment and clients at every stage of their business, from founders dealing with questions about formation through to public companies navigating through the thickets of the new Pillar 2 international tax regime.

Mike writes (with Fenwick partners Larissa Neumann and Julia Ushakova-Stein) the monthly U.S. Tax Review column in Tax Notes International.

Prior to joining Fenwick, Mike was an associate in the Washington DC office of a global law firm, where he worked on issues arising in all areas of the firm’s international corporate tax practice.

Mike is a graduate of Harvard University and earned his JD from Yale Law School.
