Matthew concentrates his practice on executive compensation and employee benefit matters, primarily in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other business transactions.
Matthew also advises public and private companies on the design and implementation of equity and cash incentive compensation and retention programs and the negotiation of executive employment, separation and change in control agreements. He also advises clients regarding Section 409A deferred compensation and Section 280G parachute payment issues, as well as compensation-related corporate governance matters and public disclosure requirements.
Prior to joining Fenwick, Matthew was an associate at a leading New York law firm.
