Marie advises on representing companies, officers and directors in shareholder class actions, derivative litigation, regulatory and internal investigations, mergers and acquisitions litigation, and shareholder inspection demands under Delaware and California law.

Marie has co-authored articles on a number of topics, including recent developments in litigation under the federal securities laws, fiduciary duty claims relating to executive compensation matters and obligations under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.

During law school, Marie served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Martin J. Jenkins of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California. Prior to law school, Marie studied music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
