John advises on a broad variety of corporate matters to support clients in the technology and life sciences industries, including software, hardware, robotics, artificial intelligence, aerospace and defense, and healthtech. Understanding the unique needs of clients in cutting-edge industries, he is adept at navigating complex corporate matters to help clients achieve their business objectives.

John provides strategic legal counsel for clients throughout their lifecycle, guiding them through financings, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, follow-on offerings, and tender offers. He partners with early-stage startups to established public companies to help overcome legal challenges.

During law school, John was the managing editor of the UC Davis Law Review and was awarded the Witkin Award in four classes including mergers and acquisitions and legal research and writing. Before becoming an attorney, John worked for several years as a deputy coroner in Yolo County, CA.
