Joanne advises clients on a broad variety of intellectual property matters, with a focus on commercial matters and technology transactions for clients in the technology, software, consumer products, entertainment and life sciences industries. She has experience with various types of IP and commercial transactions, including acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, collaborations and licensing arrangements, as well as data privacy and cybersecurity issues.

Prior to joining Fenwick, Joanne was an associate at a leading New York-based law firm, where her practice focused on public company mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures across a variety of industries. While in law school, Joanne served on NYU's Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law and navigated technology policy through NYU’s Innovation Externship program.
