Jim's responsibilities include refining the business processes at the firm to provide better service to clients with increased efficiency, providing eDiscovery and compliance consulting and service to external clients and ensuring the security of data shared with the firm.
Fenwick has created an innovative culture to better serve our clients. It has built a number of data and process driven tools for managing collection of information and documents in anticipation of governmental inquiries and litigation. These tools help our clients reduce cost, increase efficiency and speed of working the Fenwick team and any outside consultants while maintaining security and the sanctity of attorney-client privilege.
Jim was a member of the Board of Directors of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) for 12 years; he is also its former President. Prior to joining Fenwick, Jim was the director of infrastructure and administrative systems at a Global 50 law firm. He has 25 years of experience in various legal management roles. He joined Fenwick in 2016 as its director of information technology. Jim is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and was previously a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer + Internet.
