Jefferson represents digital health, life sciences and technology companies in a range of complex transactions. His practice includes advising on intellectual property licensing, data privacy and security, and healthcare regulatory issues, as well as supporting corporate transactions such as mergers, asset acquisitions, and venture capital investments.

Jefferson is deeply engaged with the digital health community. He serves as an advisor to emerging health technology innovators through the Rock Health Innovation Fellowship program. Additionally, he volunteers as a judge and mentor for the University of Washington Hollomon Health Innovation Challenge and has played an integral role in helping organize the Digital Health Counsel AI Summit in Seattle, events that gather thought leaders at the intersection of health, law, and technology.

During law school, Jefferson served as an editor of the International Law Journal and externed with the general counsel of Seattle Children's Hospital as well as the Honorable Deborah Batts of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
