Jefferson represents digital health, life sciences and technology companies in complex transactions. He regularly counsels clients with respect to intellectual property licensing, data privacy and security, and healthcare regulatory issues. He is also involved in corporate transactions such as mergers, asset acquisitions and venture capital investments.

Jefferson is particularly active in the digital health community, representing innovative companies focused on automation, telehealth, clinical intelligence, diagnostics, therapeutics, mental health and wellness. He serves as an advisor to health tech innovators in the Rock Health Innovation Fellowship program.

During law school, Jefferson was an editor of the International Law Journal. He also served as an extern for the Honorable Deborah Batts of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
