Jason prosecutes and provides strategic counseling on patent portfolios in small-molecule drugs and biologics, drug-related knowledge discovery platforms using AI/Machine Learning, and digital healthcare and therapeutics.

Prior to his legal career, Jason received an M.D. from Brown University, and was a resident physician in ophthalmology, where he diagnosed and managed various ophthalmic conditions including ones relating to neuro-ophthalmology and ocular oncology. He was also a research fellow at the New England Eye Center, where he collaborated with the Research Laboratory of Electronics (RLE) at MIT to conduct cutting-edge clinical research on the detection and 3D modeling of vitreoretinal diseases using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). Additionally, Jason holds an M.S. from Carnegie Mellon University in Language Technologies and a B.S. in Computer Science, and has experience with AI-based biomedical natural language processing and speech synthesis.
