James advises clients in the high technology and life sciences industries on a broad variety of corporate matters, including venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, and securities matters.

Prior to joining Fenwick, James worked in the New York and Hong Kong offices of another Am Law 100 firm. While attending law school, James was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a Managing Editor for the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law, and worked as a legal intern for the Wikimedia Foundation in San Francisco.
