As Fenwick’s Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Floyd works closely with firm leadership to promote and integrate DEI throughout the firm, to increase and strengthen the diversity of talent at all levels and to further the firm’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace for all. He plays an integral role in helping align the firm's DEI goals with its overall business objectives and the strategic priorities of practices, offices and business functions across the firm.
Floyd serves as a member of Fenwick's senior management team and acts as a senior-level advisor to the firm’s DEI Steering Board, as well as to the members of the firm’s numerous employee resource groups. Additionally, he collaborates with firm clients and other external stakeholders on events and joint initiatives to further enhance Fenwick’s impact within the broader community.
Floyd has more than 20 years of experience developing and delivering DEI initiatives and strategies within the private and non-profit sectors. He has been the DEI leader at two Am Law 50 law firms, a leading provider of commercial real estate data and marketplace listing platforms, and global strategic consulting firm. His background includes strategic planning, pipeline management, metrics, community building and curriculum development.
