Evan forms deep relationships with founders and becomes their “go-to” resource for legal and business guidance, advice, and assistance.  He enjoys the long-term relationships he has formed with clients over the years, and has attended more than one of their weddings, milestone birthday parties, and other life events.

Evan’s roots are firmly planted in the New York City startup community, where he often serves as a mentor to founders, writing, speaking and leading seminars on legal and business issues. Evan publishes his thoughts and insights on all things climate on his Medium page.  He is also the co-author of Fenwick’s Convertible Debt Terms - Survey of Market Trends, a report that provides insight into what is market in convertible note terms of interest to founders, board members, and investors.

When he’s not practicing law and advising startups, Evan enjoys sailing, skiing with his kids, running, and spending time in Vermont with his family.
