Pro Bono Manager

As Fenwick’s Pro Bono Manager, Erika works to enhance the firm’s connection with and participation in impactful pro bono projects. She collaborates with legal services organizations and other nonprofits to develop meaningful pro bono opportunities for our attorneys that help fill a critical legal need in our communities. She aims to foster a program where our attorneys can use their skills to serve others, increase access to justice for marginalized communities, and ensure that the most vulnerable members in society can access the quality representation they need to move forward and upward in their lives. In addition to managing and supporting Fenwick’s firmwide pro bono program, she enjoys representing clients in a variety of pro bono matters.

Erika is proud to bring opportunities for involvement, education, awareness, and connection to a firm that is rooted in its culture of giving, as well as to help broaden the reach of our pro bono program through building innovative partnerships with Fenwick’s commercial clients that increase pro bono involvement by the legal community at large.

Prior to joining Fenwick, Erika was a senior housing attorney and lead pro bono attorney at the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, where she led pro bono clinics and trainings; represented clients in eviction defense cases and housing- and civil rights-related affirmative litigation; and advocated for stronger protections for tenants and the unhoused at the local, state, and federal levels. Prior to that, she was an associate attorney at a Midwestern employment and civil rights law firm where she litigated on behalf of individuals to uphold their rights in the workplace, the community, and beyond. She also has experience representing clients in child welfare cases.
