Donna represents clients in patent litigation covering a broad range of technologies, including semiconductor devices, internet and mobile applications, wireless communications, and consumer products.

Donna’s patent litigation experience includes arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and working with experts. She has also worked on inter partes reviews and patent prosecution.

During law school, Donna worked at the Juelsgaard Intellectual Property and Innovation Clinic, where she obtained a statutory exemption from liability under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act for unlocking of used consumer electronics on behalf of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries.

  • Defended a memory device manufacturer in patent infringement litigations involving dynamic random access memories (DRAMs).
  • Defended an augmented reality glasses maker against breach of contract and tort claims alleging theft of confidential designs. Won complete dismissal for failure to state a claim.
  • Defended an ecommerce platform in a design patent infringement dispute.
