Christopher focuses on a broad variety of patent litigation matters to support clients in the technology, software and life sciences industries. He has counseled clients in all aspects of patent litigation, from conducting litigation strategy and analysis to successfully taking cases to trial. He has extensive experience working with companies in the hardware, software, telecommunications, fintech, internet, video games, consumer and home electronics industries. Prior to his legal career, Christopher spent nine years as a software engineer at Motorola and Business Logic Corporation.

During law school, he was a production editor for the Journal on Telecommunications & High Technology Law.

  • Representing Amazon.com in a patent infringement suit in the International Trade Commission involving Amazon’s Fire TVs.
  • Representing Amazon.com in multiple patent infringement suits in the Western District of Texas and in inter partes review proceedings involving Amazon’s Ad Exchange business.
  • Representing Supercell Oy, maker of the popular mobile game “Clash Royale, Hay Day, Brawl Stars and Clash of Clans” in multiple patent infringement suits in the Eastern District of Texas. Christopher drafted claim construction briefs, summary judgment motions, and worked with technical experts to prepare non-infringement and invalidity reports. Christopher also represented Supercell in trial in which the client received a positive damages outcome and in multiple inter partes and post-grant review proceedings before the USPTO.
  • Representing Cray, Inc. against Raytheon Corporation in the Western District of Wisconsin in a patent infringement suit involving high-speed computing. After a successful motion to transfer from the Eastern District of Texas, Christopher and his team won a summary judgment victory of non-infringement for Cray on all claims.
