Ariel advises clients on a broad variety of domestic and international tax planning and tax controversy matters, with an emphasis on international tax planning (inbound and outbound), restructurings, controversy and mergers and acquisitions. She regularly represents clients from a diverse set of industries and geographic areas, including a number of Fortune 500 companies.

During law school, Ariel served as articles editor for the New York University Law Review and was named an AnBryce Scholar.

In some noteworthy transactions, Ariel represented:

  • A member of the Bowlen family in connection with the record-breaking $4.65B sale of the Denver Broncos
  • ViacomCBS in its partnership with beIN Media via acquisition of a 49% stake in Miramax
  • King Digital Entertainment in its $5.9 billion acquisition by Activision Blizzard, which won International Tax Review’s Global Deal of the Year
