She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional with the International Association of Privacy Professionals and has extensive experience advising clients both in the U.S. and internationally. Ana is well-versed on the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other similar U.S. state privacy laws, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and other federal regulations. Ana regularly counsels digital health and tech companies with a particular focus on HIPAA compliance, including advising on the Privacy Rule, Security Rule, and Business Associate Agreements.
