Alberto advises clients that utilize advanced technologies on a wide range of intellectual property matters related to technology-focused transactions.

He primarily works with companies in the AI and machine learning, fintech, and blockchain industries. Alberto’s interest in these industries began during law school, when he provided supervised advice to startup and venture capital clients on a variety of transactional and regulatory matters as part of the University of Chicago Innovation Clinic. He also performed diligence on ventures arising from the University of Chicago ecosystem as an associate for the Shultz Innovation Fund.
