November 17, 2003 (Mountain View, CA) – Fenwick & West LLP announced today that Rob Kahn had been appointed its new Business Development Manager, effective immediately. Kahn, 34, an attorney and a noted voice in the legal marketing industry, has left Media Construct, the award-winning creative agency he founded, to join the Fenwick & West marketing team.
Prior to his work in marketing, Kahn was a litigation associate with the statewide insurance defense firm of Donald M. Dean & Associates and general counsel of Cybrary, one of the first on-line publishing ventures.

Mr. Kahn received his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Michigan and his law degree from New College of California School of Law. He is a director of the Legal Marketing Association—Bay Area Chapter, a member of the advisory board of the MadCat International Film Festival, and one of the co-founders of the San Francisco Late Night Coalition—the first nightclub industry political action committee to receive national press and successfully changed San Francisco's entertainment permitting laws.
