Fenwick corporate partner Dawn Belt was recognized as one of The Recorder’s Women Leaders in Tech Law for 2019. This is the second year that Belt has been named to The Recorder’s list.
The Recorder noted that Belt represented ResMed, a global leader in sleep apnea treatment and connected health solutions, in its agreement to form a new joint venture with Alphabet company Verily Life Sciences.
The publication also noted that Belt co-authors Fenwick’s Gender Diversity Survey, a benchmark report on women’s participation at the most senior levels of public technology and life sciences companies in the Silicon Valley 150 Index and the Standard & Poor’s 100 Index.
Belt shepherds emerging and high-growth companies through key moments in their lifecycle, assisting clients with startup formation, venture financings and evaluating exit opportunities. She provides guidance on mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, SEC compliance and corporate governance.
She was also named one of The Recorder’s Women Leaders in Tech Law in 2017, and has been recognized by the Daily Journal as one of California’s top women lawyers and by the Silicon Valley Business Journal as one of its Women of Influence.
