The awards were presented at the annual Americas M&A Atlas Awards Gala held at the Harvard Club in New York on October 25, 2011. Fenwick won the “2011 North America M&A Deal of the Year (Upper Mid Markets) Award” (deal size above 250 million USD) for representation of Asthmatx in its $443.5 million acquisition by Boston Scientific. The Asthmatx team was led by Barry Kramer and also included attorneys David Michaels, Michael Patrick, Alan Smith, Scott Spector, William Skinner, Kee Kim, Michael Solomon, Blake Martell, Roger Tolbert and Ron Schrotenboer.
