Fenwick Recognized Among Nation’s Leading Patent Firms by IAM Patent 1000

Fenwick and its patent practitioners have been recognized in the 2023 issue of Law Business Research’s IAM Patent 1000, a guide to the world’s leading firms and individuals practicing patent law.

IAM Patent 1000 ranked Fenwick among the top firms nationally and in California for patent litigation, patent prosecution and patent transactions work. The guide also honored the firm for patent litigation in New York and Washington and for its patent prosecution group in New York.

The guide recognized 30 Fenwick lawyers as leading practitioners in California, Washington and New York in the patent litigation, patent prosecution and patent transactions categories, as well as nationally for international trade commission, life sciences litigation and post-grant proceedings work.

Praising the firm’s deep industry expertise, IAM Patent 1000 noted that Fenwick is “a repository of trust for some of the world’s most recognisable brands,” and “is best known for its ability to handle high-technology, high-stakes and high-profile cases with finesse.” The guide also commended the team of experienced patent practitioners, commenting that they “truly understand the relationship between intellectual property and a successful business model, and craft winning strategies that place their clients in the strongest position.”

Recently, Managing IP named Fenwick as the U.S. Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year for the second consecutive year, and Patexia recognized Fenwick's patent litigation group as the Best Performing Law Firm (Representing Defendants) in a ranking of the top 100 best performing and most active patent litigation law firms and lawyers. The Legal 500 also honored Fenwick among the United States’ leading firms for patent licensing, litigation and prosecution work.
