Fenwick litigation partner and gaming and digital media practice chair Jennifer Kelly was named to the Executive Board of TechLaw. She will begin serving as TechLaw treasurer in 2018 and progress to the role of president in 2021. Kelly is the first woman to hold a leadership position in TechLaw’s 30-plus year history.
Recently elected chair of Fenwick’s intellectual property and commercial litigation practice group, Kelly focuses her practice on litigation and counseling, with a particular emphasis on copyright, trademark, right of publicity, trade secret and false advertising disputes for technology companies, and particularly companies in the gaming industry.
One of the foremost authorities on IP issues pertinent to video games and mobile apps, Kelly has been named one of The Recorder’s Women Leaders in Tech Law for the past two years and has been recognized as one of the Most Influential Women in the Bay Area by the San FranciscoBusiness Times and one of California’s Top Intellectual Property Attorneys and Top Entertainment Lawyers by The Daily Journal.
