Lashify, Inc. has reached a settlement with Qingdao Hollyren Cosmetics Co., under which Hollyren will cease the manufacture, import, and sale of certain artificial eyelash kits in the United States, concluding Lashify’s 2022 patent infringement case. Per a stipulation filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, Hollyren will stop supporting third-party sales once it fulfills prior orders, agreeing to the validity and enforceability of Lashify’s patents while excluding certain eyelash types from the injunction.
Litigation partners Saina Shamilov and Melanie Mayer led the Fenwick team that represented Lashify in this case, securing this outcome as part of the brand's ongoing campaign to protect its patented lash products from unauthorized reproduction.
The case is Lashify Inc. v. Qingdao Hollyren Cosmetics Co. , W.D. Tex., No. 6:22-cv-00777, stipulation filed 11/5/24.
