Fenwick Represents Tome in $43 Million Series B Financing

Fenwick represented Tome, San Francisco-based storytelling software startup, in its $43 million Series B financing. The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from Coatue, Greylock Partners, Audacious Ventures, Wing Venture Capital, 8VC, Eric Schmidt, Emad Mostaque, David Luan and Bipul Sinha.

Tome will use the new funding to build more value for its rapidly growing community of storytellers, with a plan to hire additional top machine learning, engineering, design, and product talent. They’ll also be investing in features to better support teams and organizations, and more intelligent integrations with workplace tools. The transaction was led by corporate partners Cynthia Hess and Katherine Duncan and associates Stephanie Hong, Leeza Soulina and Michael Murrietta.
