Fenwick represented Tempus Ex Machina, a developer of a real-time three-dimensional tracking technology, in its acquisition of Biocore, a biomechanics engineering firm. The combined company will be known as Infinite Athlete, with Charlie Ebersol of Tempus Ex serving as Infinite Athlete’s CEO.
Tempus Ex’s acquisition of Biocore will contribute to the technology infrastructure needed to facilitate the development of applications that can use Tempus Ex’s video and data feed platform, FusionFeed API. Tempus Ex is working with the National Football League (NFL) to provide multi-angle video access to enhance social media experiences for the NFL’s sponsors. Tempus Ex is also working with English Premier League club Chelsea FC to leverage its Match View X technology to provide bespoke viewing experiences for fans and the Pac-12 Conference to provide video technology tools to identify athlete injuries.
