Fenwick Represents Switch Bioworks in $17M Series Seed Financing

Fenwick represented Switch Bioworks, a biotechnology company developing low-cost and sustainable fertilizers, in its $17 million series seed financing. The round was led by Change Forces Capital with participation from Grantham Foundation, Astanor Ventures, Acre Venture Partners, Anthos Capital, Thia Ventures, Emerson Collective, and Ag Ventures Alliance.

Switch Bioworks will use the funds to complete product development of the company's first carbon-neutral biological nitrogen fertilizer, including initial scale-up fermentation and formulation as well as greenhouse and field trials in the U.S. and internationally.
