Fenwick & West represented Proofpoint, Inc., (NASDAQ: PFPT), a leading next-generation cybersecurity company, in its definitive agreement to acquire FireLayers Ltd., an innovator in cloud security, for approximately $55 million.
The acquisition will allow Proofpoint to extend Targeted Attack Protection (TAP) to SaaS applications, enabling customers to protect their employees using SaaS applications from advanced malware.
