Fenwick Represents Packet in Acquisition by Equinix

Fenwick & West is representing Packet, a leading bare metal automation platform, in its definitive agreement to be acquired by Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), a global interconnection and data center company. The companies anticipate the acquisition to close during the first quarter of fiscal year 2020.

Equinix intends to leverage the Packet offering to accelerate the development and delivery of its interconnected edge services. More information about the acquisition can be obtained from the company’s announcement.
