Fenwick represented MessageBird, a leading omnichannel cloud communications platform, in its definitive agreement to acquire SparkPost, a leading email sending and deliverability platform, as well as the related equity financing.
With SparkPost’s tools and services as part of MessageBird’s omnichannel offering, MessageBird’s end-users will be able to benefit even more from increased reliability, security and deliverability of their email communications. Fenwick represented MessageBird in its original $200 million Series C round in October 2020, as well as the financing related to the intended acquisition.
In March 2021, Fenwick also advised MessageBird in its acquisition of Hull, an Atlanta-based Customer Data Platform (CDP). Hull will join the MessageBird CDP team to create an in-depth analytics layer between its extensive channel offering and the workflow solutions it provides to customers.
