Fenwick represented Lightspeed Ventures, a multi-stage venture capital firm focused on accelerating disruptive innovations and trends in the enterprise, consumer, health, and fintech sectors, in its investment in Vestwell’s $125 million Series D financing. The funding was led by Lightspeed, with participation from Fin Capital, Primary Venture Partners, FinTech Collective, Blue Owl, and HarbourVest.
Vestwell is a cloud-based modern recordkeeping platform providing the underlying infrastructure to power state and workplace retirement programs at scale. The funds will be used to help boost sales and engineering teams and bring out new products such as emergency and health savings accounts.
