Fenwick & West represented Impossible Aerospace, a startup poised to disrupt the status quo of aviation with long-range electric aircraft, in its $9.4 million Series A financing. Bessemer Venture Partners led the round with participation from existing investor Eclipse Ventures and new investor Airbus Ventures.
Along with the Series A financing, Impossible Aerospace also launched out of stealth mode to announce its viable product US-1, an electric commercial-grade drone with a flight time of up to two hours. The battery life of the US-1 outperforms the industry average and brings it to parity with gasoline-fueled systems. More information regarding Impossible Aerospace’s $9.4 million Series A financing can be obtained from the company announcement.
The Fenwick transaction team was led by corporate lawyers Kristine Di Bacco, Andrew Harper and Noah Johnson.
