Fenwick Represents Databricks in its Pending Acquisition of Tabular

Fenwick is representing Databricks, a data and AI company, in its pending acquisition of Tabular, a cloud-native data platform from the original creators of Apache Iceberg. Together, Databricks and Tabular will make open data lakehouse formats Delta Lake and Iceberg interoperable.

Databricks and Tabular will combine their vision and expertise to simplify compatibility among lakehouse formats, and will strengthen Databricks’ Delta Lake UniForm, an open standard for interoperable table formats that all data platforms can read and write without proprietary restrictions.
