Fenwick & West represented Dapper Labs, the company behind the world’s first and most successful consumer blockchain product, CryptoKitties, in its $15 million financing. Venrock led the funding round, with participation from GV (formerly Google Venture), Samsung NEXT, CoinFund, Animoca Brands, Matt Bellamy, the lead singer of Muse, June Fund, HOF Capital, John Pfeffer and GBIC. Existing investors also participated in the round, including Andreessen Horowitz, Union Square Ventures, SV Angel, Digital Currency Group, William Mougayar, Hex Capital and Rising Tide Fund.
