Fenwick & West represented Coinbase, Inc., a leading digital currency wallet and platform where merchants and consumers can transact with new digital currencies, in its acquisition of HardFork Inc. (dba Cipher Browser), a decentralized app browser and wallet for the Ethereum blockchain. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Coinbase will merge certain of Cipher Browser’s features into Toshi, Coinbase’s decentralized mobile browser. More information about Coinbase’s acquisition of Cipher Browser can be obtained here.
