Fenwick & West LLP represented Unity Technologies Inc., creators of the Unity multiplatform engine and development tools, in its recently announced acquisition of Applifier Oy, one of the world’s largest and most successful mobile game service providers. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition will help Unity bolster their development platform by integrating Everyplay, the pioneering game replay sharing and community service as well as the GameAds video advertising network, which will complement the free cross-promotion network currently in development for Unity Cloud.
