Food Insecurity
We’re dedicated to helping alleviate the problem of food insecurity in our communities. From coast to coast, our offices participate in activities ranging from canned food drives to food bank volunteer days; we donate to and volunteer with organizations including the Second Harvest Food Bank, Rise Against Hunger and the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. Over the past two decades, Fenwick has been a donor to the Ecumenical Hunger Program, an organization which serves low-income individuals in Silicon Valley.
Looking Out for Kids
Supporting kids means supporting the most vital and vulnerable members of our communities. From helping schools in underserved areas to supporting families in transitional housing and providing mentorship and jobs skills training for youth in underserved communities, our staff and attorneys are committed to investing in young people. When it comes to kids, our Seattle office shines with their crucial support of the Ryther Center, a mental health and addiction center for children and teens.
Focusing on Homelessness
We share our resources where they’re needed most. In addition to our ongoing relationships with local food banks and youth-focused organizations, we’re committed to serving those facing homelessness in our communities. In the past, our efforts have included coat, clothing, and shoe drives, linen drives, and volunteer support for local organizations such as LifeMoves, Hamilton Families, Coalition for the Homeless, Wellspring Family Services, Loved Twice, Project Homeless Connect, and the St. Anthony Foundation.
Natural Disaster Relief
When disaster strikes, Fenwick is there. Our staff and lawyers raise money to give in times of crisis, assisting communities across the country and beyond U.S. borders in times of critical need. Throughout the years, we have mobilized to support communities affected by floods, hurricanes, wildfires, and other natural disasters.
Sustainability
As a community, Fenwickians have committed to environmental sustainability within the firm and beyond. Fenwick’s Green Team regularly hosts environmental education events for employees, including speaker series and an Earth Day Expo. The Green Team has also facilitated the redoubling of efforts to make office waste disposal more environmentally friendly, and hosts volunteer opportunities with organizations that focus on sustainability. Outside the office walls, our staff and attorneys participate in a wide range of environmentally-friendly efforts, including beach cleanups and volunteer events at public gardens and other green spaces.
Fenwick Family Community Impact Weekends
We believe in sharing our service work with the communities that matter most to us. That’s why we organize two Family Community Impact Weekends every year: to engage our loved ones in the Fenwick culture of meaningful service. One of these weekends is dedicated to serving people in need within our communities and the other is devoted to environmental restoration efforts. Working in locations ranging from beaches to parks to public schools, our staff and attorneys — alongside their families — come together to give back.

Little Things to Brighten Lives
Compassion is at the core of Fenwick CSR. On top of our wide-reaching community service and charitable giving work, we make an effort to connect with our neighbors who need it most. We have made Valentine’s Day cards for seniors and veterans, decorated journals for women and children who have survived domestic violence, and donated over 100 pounds of candy to active-duty troops through Operation Gratitude. We believe in unlocking compassion and kindness to brighten the lives of those around us.
