Alice at Court: Analysis of the Arguments

By: Robert R. Sachs

As many of you know, oral arguments in Alice v CLS are on Monday, March 31. Today and tomorrow I’m posting a two part analysis, Alice at Court: Stepping Through the Looking Glass of the Merits Briefs in Alice Corp. v. CLS Bank on the IPWatchdog, with my take on some of the key arguments of Alice, CLS, the Solicitor General, and other amici, and why they are right or wrong.

Update: Here's the link to part two.

As a reminder, after the oral arguments we'll be hosting a teleforum at 1pm to discuss our impressions. You can join by phone or come to Fenwick's Silicon Vally offices to attend.
