Josh advises entrepreneurs, executives, and in-house legal teams on bringing their innovative ideas to market. He partners with his clients every step of the way, using his decades of experience and knowledge of the ecosystem to take them from nascent stage emerging growth to multibillion-dollar public corporations. Josh acts as a strategic partner on which clients can rely to identify and provide thoughtful, efficient, and comprehensive solutions.

Josh closely monitors the latest trends, gaining insight into how new technologies, therapeutics, services, and products will affect the marketplace. He leverages this knowledge to help his clients stay one step ahead of their competition. Life sciences, AI, space, deep technology, consumer products companies, and their investors appreciate that Josh understands their business and speaks their language. They rely on him for venture capital and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and technology arrangements. He often advises boards of directors and senior management on matters such as corporate governance and intellectual property transactions and negotiates strategic transactions on behalf of corporations. At the heart of his practice, Josh helps innovators in all facets of their business.

Josh keeps his finger on the pulse by training the next generation of corporate lawyers through his involvement in the American Bar Association (ABA) and as a guest lecturer at multiple law schools including UCLA Law, University of Pennsylvania Law School, and Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. He is Chairman Emeritus of the ABA’s Private Equity and Venture Capital Committee and an active member of the ABA’s Mergers and Acquisitions Committee and International Law Section.
