Managing Intellectual Property honored Fenwick with several recognitions on its 2020 Americas Awards list, which honors top firms and individuals for remarkable IP law achievements and developments in the past 12 months.
The publication named Fenwick the Trademark Prosecution Firm of the Year for the western United States—the third time in four years that the firm has earned this recognition.
Additionally, Fenwick earned recognition as the Copyright Firm of the Year for the western United States, and litigation partner David Tellekson was named Washington’s Outstanding Litigator of the Year, an honor he also received in 2018.
Underscoring the firm’s standing as a leading IP law firm, Managing IP also honored Fenwick with a number of shortlist honors. In addition to being named Trademark Prosecution Firm of the Year for the western United States as noted above, Fenwick was also among the shortlist finalists for Trademark Prosecution Firm of the Year for the entire nation and Trademark Contentious Firm of the Year for the western United States. Fenwick technology transactions chair Jake Handy was also shortlisted among just seven finalists for the year’s Outstanding Practitioner in IP transactions.
