Mountain View, CA (October 19, 2016) – Fenwick & West today announced it is partnering with Election Protection, the nation’s largest nonpartisan voter protection coalition, to help voters navigate the upcoming U.S. presidential election.
The first Election Protection call center in Silicon Valley will be staffed by trained volunteers from Fenwick, local law firms and tech companies. The center will provide callers with voting information and support on November 7-8, 2016, and will be located in Fenwick’s Mountain View, California headquarters.
Volunteers at the Silicon Valley call center will respond to calls from voters through Election Protection’s toll-free hotlines ─ 1-866-OUR-VOTE (1-866-687-8683) in English and 1-888-VE-Y-VOTA (1-888-839-8682) in Spanish. Hotlines are available to voters who need guidance in understanding their rights, encounter barriers at the polls or have questions during the voting process.
